Participation Policies & Program Guidelines

Participation in 3rd World Basketball requires full commitment to personal and team development. Athletes are expected to attend all scheduled sessions, maintain consistent effort, and uphold the standards of excellence throughout the program.
All payments made to 3rd World Basketball for training programs, camps, or services are non-refundable.
Exception: A refund or partial program credit may be considered under the following conditions:
- There is verifiable proof of unsatisfactory growth or development by the conclusion of the program cycle.
- The participant must have demonstrated consistent attendance and effort throughout.
- A formal written request is submitted and reviewed by the coaching staff.
- An evaluation is conducted by 3rd World Basketball leadership to determine eligibility for a refund or credit.
Decisions made after evaluation are final.
Missed Workouts / Make-Up Policy
We strive to maintain structure and accountability in our programs. Missed workouts disrupt athlete progress and team chemistry.
Policy for Missed Sessions:
- Make-up workouts must be completed within the same calendar month.
- Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and require advance approval by a Coach.
- Make-ups are subject to availability and may be assigned in alternate time slots or skill sessions.
- Sessions missed without prior notice or communication will not be eligible for make-up.
We hold our athletes to the highest standard of sportsmanship. Honesty, respect for others, and personal accountability are foundational to development and leadership in and out of competition.
3rd World Basketball is committed to clear and open communication with all athletes and families. Progress reports, updates, and coaching feedback will be shared consistently.
We foster an environment where communication is welcomed and valued. Families and athletes are encouraged to:
- Ask questions about training or development
- Discuss individual concerns
- Share feedback for program growth
Meetings with coaches or program directors can be scheduled to ensure privacy and thoughtful conversation.
All athletes and families are required to sign a Participation Agreement Form acknowledging:
- Full understanding of the above policies
- Commitment to uphold the program’s standards
- Agreement with the non-refundable nature of program fees, with stated exceptions
